Tracy Keith ("T.K.") Loftis

Tracy Keith (“T.K.”) Loftis, 70, of Sanford, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 24, 1954 in San Diego, CA, the son of the late John and Kathleen Loftis. In addition to his parents, Tracy was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Ann Sheek.

Tracy is survived by his wife; Catherine Loftis; daughter, Stacey Holder and husband, William; son, Shane Loftis and wife, Katie; grandchildren, Pace Holder, Dane Holder, Presley Loftis, Carson Barbato, Nicolas Barbato, Mia Barbato, and Alex Barbato; brother, John Loftis; and several nieces and nephews.

Tracy received his Bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville University.  While attending the Air War College, he also obtained his Master’s degree from Auburn University in Public Administration.  Tracy was a career military officer retiring after over 20 years of service in the Navy as well as the Marine Corp.  He was a licensed helicopter pilot with over 3600 military flight hours flying fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft and accumulated over 1500 flight hours as a flight instructor. Tracy enjoyed spending his free time fishing, boating, and hunting. 

A private service will be held at a later date.
