Tim Brown

Mr. Timothy B. “Tim” Brown, 63, of Lillington, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Tim was born June 13, 1957, in Lee County to James and Elsie Brown.  He attended Lillington High School and had primarily worked with civil service at Fort Bragg for many years.  He loved to play golf; had been a member of the Lillington Masonic Lodge #302 and had served as Past Master; and was also a Shriner.

Tim never met a stranger and would truly do whatever he could to help another person.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2021, at 3 pm in Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Beacham presiding.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, James B. Brown, Sr.

He is survived by his three children, Angela Skandier and husband Trey, Morgan Edwards and husband Andrew, and Joshua Brown and wife Lauren; one grandson, Jonah Brown; his mother, Elsie Brown; three brothers, Andrew Brown, David Brown, and Jim Brown; and sister, Carol Norfolk.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or to the Harnett County Shrine Club.
