Tammy Cobb Pentony, 61, of Buies Creek, passed away, Thursday, November 3, 2022, surrounded by her family at home.
Tammy, known to many as “Nurse Tammy”, was born November 1, 1961 to the late Tyson Cobb and Etta Barnes Cobb. She was a native of Angier, NC and a graduate of East Carolina University School of Nursing. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and “Ema”. Tammy was known for having a world class sense of humor. Her talents included cooking, dancing and embracing her friends and family with open arms and a loving heart.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 29 years, Peter Pentony; son, Matthew Campbell and wife, Hollyn; daughters, Morgan Campbell, and Madison Pentony; brother, Ty Cobb and wife, Kathy; special niece and nephew, Lindsey and Tyler Cobb; special cousin, Carolyn Coppedge and husband, Randy; and beloved grandchildren, Quinn, Reece, and Mason Campbell.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Angier United Methodist Church, 278 S. Wilma Street, Angier, NC 27501, with Pastors Rich Cooper and Robin Hardison officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
