TSGT. Thomas Patrick Knight

TSGT. Thomas Patrick Knight Retired, USAF, 88, of Lillington NC. passed away Monday, March 18, 2024 at his home. He was born in Scranton PA. He was the son of the late Thomas O. Knight and Marion Ollendike Knight.

A US Marine for 10 years he then completed his service with 10 years in the US Air Force. He served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars. After active duty he worked for the Department of Navy as a Technician in the Trident Nuclear Submarine Program. After leaving civil service he and his wife designed and built a vacation home in the Adirondacks. They spent their retirement years traveling and splitting their time between the Adirondacks, Lillington NC and Key West FL.

Thomas is survived by Mary Lamar Knight, his wife of 61 years, Son Thomas Patterson Knight and wife Elizabeth, daughter Karen J. Earle and husband Terry. Grandchildren; Alysia Coffee, Amanda Kline, Amy Levasseur and Samantha Clark, nine Great Grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held May 17th, 2024 at 3 PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM at Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, 8000 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112.  If unable to attend the family requests to maintain a moment of silence during the time of service no matter where they are in the world.  Thank you.
