Stormie Lynn Bowling

Stormie Lynn Bowling, 33, passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 17, 2026 in Durham, NC.  She was born October 16, 1992 in Raleigh NC.

Stormie is survived by her mother, Tracey Lynn Bowling (Ricky Vann) and father, Horace Wayne Bowling (Ashley Williams); Papa, James Hall; grandmother, Mary Frances Bowling; siblings, Melissa Vann, Christopher Bowling(Anna), James Allen Bowling, Windi Bowing, Levi Bowling, and Kinsley Bowling; niece/nephews, Tucker Bowling, Waylon Porter, Sadie Terry, Brantley Bowling, and John Luke Bowling; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Judy Lynn Hall and Belinda Hall; grandfather, Horace Allen Bowling; and step-sister, Danielle Vann.

Stormie loved cooking, coloring, Lilo and Stitch, dolphins, horses and the color pink. Though her time on earth was far too short, she filled each day with joy and laughter and a light that will never be forgotten. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 6pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 1310 S. Main Street, Lillington, NC.  The family will receive friends beginning at 4:30 prior to the service.
