Shirley Lynn Hair Johnson

Shirley Lynn Hair Johnson, 53, passed away at Betsy Johnson Hospital surrounded by her loving family on March 14, 2025.  She was born in Harnett County on June 1, 1971.  Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Leon Franklin Hair.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Dwayne Johnson; daughters, Jessica Jones and Tina Johnson (fiancé Blake Autrey); grandchildren, Joshua Jones and Savannah Jackson; 2 great-grandchildren; mother, Doris Hair; and brother, Michael Hair.

Shirley loved her family.  She was known to be crafty and the family has fond memories of her using the yard stick. Her favorite travel destinations were the beach and the mountains.  She loved spending time with her four-legged grand-dogs, Buddy, Lola, Greysie, and Waya.  She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, March 17, 2025 at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home, 1313 S. Main Street, Lillington, NC.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Hair’s Chapel, 3075 Duck Pond Road, Linden, NC.  A graveside service will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at other times at the residence (2237 Joel Johnson Road, Lillington, NC).
