Shirley Gail Holder

Shirley Gail Holder, 73, of Lillington, passed away, Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Universal Healthcare in Lillington, NC. 

Shirley was born in Lee County on April 1, 1950 to the late William Ithra Holder and Mina Holder.  She was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church.   

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Holder, Donald Holder; sisters, Lindy Clark, Beatrice Holder, Betty Brown, Lee Etta Barefoot, and Inez Mangum. 

Shirley is survived by her son, Kenneth Holder, Sr. and wife, Crystal; two grandchildren, Kasey Holder, and Kenneth Holder, Jr.; special great nephew, Justin Haeck, brothers, Oscar Holder, and Earl Holder and wife, Jeanette; and many beloved nieces and nephews.   

A funeral service will be held 2pm Thursday, April 13, 2023  at Spring Hill United Methodist Church, 1960 Spring Hill Church Road, Lillington, NC 27546, with Rev. Bobby Rackley officiating. A burial will follow at a later date at the Holder Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 1pm - 2pm prior to the service, and other times at the home of Donna Haeck, 1153 Ernest Brown Rd., Lillington, NC 27546.
