Sarah Frances Hair Clark

Mrs. Sarah Frances Hair Clark, 73, of Bunnlevel passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Harnett County, the daughter of the late Starling Hair and Lottie Mae Howard Hair. In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her son, James Hair; daughter, Teresa Hart; sister, and son, Annie Mae Garland. Sarah loved to read, work in the yard, flowers and going to the beach. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sarah worked and retired from Goodyear after 35 years of service.

Sarah is survived by her fiancé, Leo Mason of the home; son, Jeffrey Hair (Amanda) of Linden; daughter, Christina McLeod (Chris) of Dunn; brothers, Junior Hair (Carolyn) of Linden; Wayne Faircloth (Brenda) of Mamers; sister, Mary Jane Brady (Jim) of Wilmington; grandchildren, Christopher McLeod, Crystal McLeod, Tyler Hart, Hannah Hair, Renee Deal and David Hart, III; step sons, James Byrd, Kelly Byrd, Brian Mason; great grandchildren, Hunter Cooper, Ava Hart.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Colliers Chapel Community Church in Linden with Pastor Johnny L. Haney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
