Robin Brown Obituary

Mr. Robin Lee Brown, 66, of Lillington passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at his home. He was born in Sanford, the son of the late Mack “Challie” Brown and Christine Cox Brown. In addition to his parents, Robin was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Ruby Nordan, Nadine Griffin, Jackie B. Stone; 2 brothers, Angus Brown and Dale Brown. Robin was a hardworking man who loved spending time with his family. He loved watching NASCAR and fishing.

Robin is survived by 3 sons, Robin Brown of Lillington, Ricky Brown and wife Jessica of Broadway, Randy Brown and girlfriend Nicole of Cameron; 13 grandchildren; brother, Mack Jr. Brown of Lillington and sister, Mamie Jo Darroch of Lillington; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Mamers with Rev. Rick Beacham officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service. Friends are invited to visit O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home on Friday, January 22, 2021 between the hours of 1:00PM-5:00 PM to pay their respects to Mr. Brown. The family will not be present during this time.

Memorials may be made to Antioch Baptist Church, P.O. Box 525, Mamers, NC 27552.

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
