Robert B. "Bob" Harold

On Saturday July 20, 2019, Robert B. “Bob” Harold, 68, of Lillington passed away in the arms of his wife Alice. Bob was born and raised in Clifton, NJ and moved to Pittsburgh, PA where he was a successful salesman. He left that career to become a truck driver for Goodwin Trucking of Cameron, NC after he and Alice moved to Lillington, NC to be with their daughters and grandchildren. Bob served his beloved country as a sharpshooter with honor & pride in the U.S. Army. He was an avid golfer before his illness and loved John Wayne movies. But he most loved spending time with his family.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife Alice Szedny Harold; two daughters Beth and husband Matthew Brocious of Lillington, NC, Christie Sisk of Chapel Hill, NC and son Brian and wife Kate Harold of Wexford, PA. Grandchildren, he loved dearly, Natalia Brocious, Isabella Ray, Madeline Brocious, Havyn Ray, Tyler Ray, Walter Brocious and Ella Harold. Bob is also survived by his Szedny family whom he loved. Bob was a Szedny at heart and considered himself a Szedny.

He was preceded in death by his parents Katherine and Vincent Harold of Clifton, NJ and his mother and father-in-law Alice and Walter Szedny whom he loved dearly of Aliquippa, PA.

Bob will be privately laid to rest into God’s Keeping in Aliquippa, PA.
