Robert Benard Blalock, Jr., 79, of Roseboro, passed away Tuesday December 14, 2021, at Sampson Regional Hospital in Clinton, NC.

He was born October 11, 1942, in Lee County, NC to the late Inez Clark Blalock and Robert Blalock, Sr.

Robert pursued a career in education teaching auto mechanics for over 25 years.

He is survived by his son, David Blalock of Falling Waters, WV; his daughter, Patty Janel Leasure and husband Linn of Falling Waters, WV; and one grandson.

A private graveside service for the family was held Saturday December 18, 2021, at Westview Cemetery in Lillington.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post 109 in Benson to 605 N Wall St, Benson, NC 27504.
