Rita "Dinkie" Jean Moore

Ms. Rita “Dinkie” Jean Moore, 55, of Lillington passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at her home. She was born in Erwin, the daughter of the late Woodrow and Mincie Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Sasha Johnson and brother, Linwood Flowers.

Rita is survived by her son, David Moore and wife Samantha of St. Pauls, NC; daughter, Cheyenne Tedder and husband, Chad of Linden, NC; grandchildren, Macie and Casey Tedder, Finley Moore; sister, Patsy Johnson of Lillington; nephews, Jonah Johnson and wife Minoo, Joseph Johnson and wife, Keri; great nephew, Jason Johnson and great niece, Gracie Johnson.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 14, 2024, in the Town of Coats Cemetery.
