Richard Norman St. Onge

Richard Norman St. Onge, 67, of Raleigh, formerly of Chelmsford, MA, passed away, Monday, December 18, 2023 at his home in Raleigh, NC. 

Richard was born December 19, 1955 in Lowell, MA to the late Norman Edward St. Onge and Ruth Arline Bolton St. Onge.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  Rick was a lover of history, books and animals. He was an adventurer, a jokester, courageous, brave, an honorary cowboy and above all an amazing father to anyone who needed one. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt off of his own back, even if he didn’t have a shirt to begin with. He will be forever loved and missed by anyone that had the pleasure of meeting him.

Forever, Richard will be remembered and survived by his wife of 43 years, Denise Sellers St. Onge; sons, Joseph St. Onge and wife, Erin Allen, Benjamin St. Onge, Daniel St. Onge, Alex St. Onge and partner, Skye Lincoln, daughters, Susan Adkins-Raynor and husband, Kenneth Raynor, and Michelle St. Onge and husband, David Bullock; five grandchildren, Aedan, Noah, Alyssa, Robbie, and Penelope; brothers, Buddy St. Onge and wife, Sharon, Steven St. Onge and wife, Cristina; sisters, Linda St. Onge and partner, Wally, Nancy Monkiewicz and husband, Ray, Bunny Hedlund and partner, Kevin, Norma Lucontoni and husband, Jimmy, Susan Dulac and partner, Bob; and twenty nieces and nephews.  

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
