Ralph Lonnie Dennis, 73, of Lillington, NC, passed away at his home surrounded by his family.

Ralph was born November 20, 1949, in Harnett County to the late Armour and Fannie O’Quinn Dennis.  He worked as a construction supervisor for the NC Department of Transportation, retiring with over 28 years of service.  Ralph enjoyed fishing off the coast of North Carolina and beach trips with family and friends.  He valued his relationship with Jesus and would spend hours reading his Bible.       

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Dennis, Jimmy Dennis, Clyde Dennis, Wayne Dennis, and Junior Dennis; sisters, Margaret White, Ellon Upchurch, Eyvone Bogan, and Eula Mae Dennis.    

Ralph is survived by his wife of 49 years, Hilda Dennis; daughter, Candace Ridgley and husband, Chad; granddaughter, Briana Jones; step-grandchildren, Ryan Ridgley, and McKayla Ridgley; special friend, Sandy Porter; sisters, Anita Dezso, and Jewel Damon; and many loving nieces and nephews.  

A private graveside service will be held at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
