Polly Steed Wise

Polly Steed Wise, 83, of Kipling, died Thursday, August 14, 2024 at Emerald Health and Rehabilitation in Lillington, NC. 

Polly was born May 3, 1941 in Harnett County, the youngest of nine of the late Carl Franklin Steed and Annie Iola Senter Steed. 

She was preceded in death by her four brothers, Roy, Robert, Ray, and Levi; and three sisters, Rachel, Ruby, and Mary Lou. 

Polly is survived by her brother, Carl Samuel Steed; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Christian Light Christian Church, 4351 Christian Light Road, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526 with Rev. Jimmy Elliott officiating.  Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Christian Light Christian Church.
