Mrs. Pearl Jackson Crenshaw, 90, of Lillington, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2021.
Pearl was a homemaker and she loved to cook and was known for her poundcakes and biscuits. Nanny was beloved and we will truly miss her.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at 2 pm in O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Lawson presiding. The burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park.
Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Belton Jay Crenshaw.
She is survived by her three children, Joyce Crenshaw Matthews and husband Bobby, Lynwood Crenshaw and wife Kathy, and Martha Crenshaw Byrd and husband Jay; six grandchildren, Bob Matthews, Jr., Joy M. Cayton, Jay Byrd, Shaun Byrd, Jill C. Thompson, and Shelley C. McCray; 14 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to visit O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home on Monday, January 18, 2021, between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm to pay their respects to Mrs. Crenshaw. The family will not be present during this time.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Kawasaki’s Disease Foundation, or Camp Dixie 373 Bladen Union Church Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
