Paul Casey

Paul Casey, 28, of Sanford, NC passed away Wednesday August 11,2021 at his residence.

He was born April 20,1993 in Chapel Hill, NC to Staci Whitcomb Casey and Johnnie Casey. Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Jonathon Casey; his maternal grandmother, Clara Bennett; and his paternal grandmother, Helen Casey.

Paul was a graduate of Western Harnett High School and later attended the Grace Institute of Biblical Studies at Bible Baptist Church in Moncure, NC. His hobbies included gaming with friends, working out, cooking, and ministering to others. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Kendale Bowling League. Paul never met a stranger, loved to make people laugh, and always saw the good in people. Most of all, he cherished the memories shared with his beloved family. His goal in life and his last wish for everyone would be to know his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his parents, Johnnie and Tami Casey and Staci and Donald Peters; his sister, Brittany Turnmire; his brothers, Joseph Peters and wife Rutt and Daniel Peters and wife Courtney; his maternal grandfather, Albert Whitcomb; his paternal grandfather, Edward Casey; his aunts, Jennifer Bennett and husband Scott, Bonnie Hatch and husband Chuck, and Donna Casey; his uncles, Steve Bennett, Curtis Casey and wife Bev, David Casey and wife Rhonda; his cousins, Melissa, Lily, David, Ryan, Rylee, and April; his nieces, Esmeralda and Genevieve; and his nephews, Brantley, Dawson, and Corey.

The family will receive friends from 2-4PM Saturday August 14 at O’Quinn Peebles Phillips Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 4PM at Westview Cemetery where Paul will be laid to rest next to his brother Jonathon.
