Patricia Couch Roberts

Patricia "Pat" Couch Roberts, 84, passed away Sunday, February 1st, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply.  

Pat was born on December 17th, 1941, to Hubert and Patricia Couch in Danville, Virginia, and grew up in Reidsville, NC.  She lived her life centered on family, faith, and taking care of others.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Earl Craven Roberts.  Together, they built a life focused on family and supporting the people around them.

Pat is survived by her children, Tony Roberts (Gwen), Keith Roberts (Lisa), Scott Roberts (Jackie), and Sherry R. Bullock (Keith).  Her family came first, always.  She was a grandmother to thirteen grandchildren and a great-grandmother to five, known lovingly as Ma Pat.  She showed her love in the way she lived every day and was always there when someone needed her.

After moving to Lillington, Pat worked as Secretary at Lillington High School and Lillington Middle School.  She left the school system to help Earl in the insurance business, Tri-Co Insurance Agency, founded by the Roberts in 1972.  The business remains a thriving part of their family legacy.

Pat had a generous heart and would help anyone who needed it.  She believed in doing the right thing, trusting God, and caring for people without expecting anything in return.  She was well known in her community for her kindness and willingness to help others.  

She loved cooking and took joy in making her home a place of warmth and comfort.  She was a wonderful host who loved gathering her friends and family around the table and making people feel at home.  

Pat will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who knew her.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:45 AM Friday, February 6, 2026 at Lillington Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at Noon in the church sanctuary with Rev. Roger Moss and Rev. Jeff Roberts officiating. Entombment will follow in the Westview Cemetery mausoleum.
