Norman Christian

Norman Christian, 84, of Lillington, passed away, Friday, July 19, 2024 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC. 

Norman was born March 5, 1940 in Harnett County to the late John Henry Christian and Ruby Cummings Christian.  He was a lifelong farmer and family man.  Norman was a member of Cool Springs Church. 

He was preceded in death by his son, John A. Christian; grandson, John Melvin Christian; brother, Melvin Christian; and sisters, Edna Mae Carter, and Darlene Ray.    

Norman is survived by his wife of 64 years, Iva Douglas Christian; granddaughters, Ann Milton, and Heather Patton and her husband, Carl; step-grandchildren, James Morrison, Jason Haire and his wife, Katelyn, great grandchildren, C.T. Milton, Waylon Patton, and Carlee Patton. 

A graveside service will be held 11am Monday, July 22, 2024 at Cool Springs Church, 2741 Cool Springs Rd., Broadway, NC 27505, with Pastor Connie Arnold officiating.  The family will receive friends 10am – 11am at the church prior to the service.
