Myra Lynn Goins Padilla, 54, of Lillington passed away Sunday September 26 ,2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
She was born January 22, 1967, in Sanford, NC to the late Bella Mae Stewart Goins and Mack Goins. Myra was preceded in death by her sister, Amanda Grey.
Myra attended Central Carolina Community College receiving a certificate as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She spent her career caring for others and worked in the home health field and at Pinecrest Gardens assisted living facility. Myra’s hobbies included cooking, sharing recipes, and volunteering her time to help others. Myra attended Antioch Baptist Church throughout her youth and early life and went on to attend Benson Baptist Church.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 23 years, Jesus Padilla; three daughters, Bridget Hall, and Maricela Padilla and husband Santiago Aguilar, and Yolanda Padilla; her son, Thomas Hall; her grandchildren, Amanda Hall, Tre’ Arnold, and Veronica Padilla-Aguilar; her sister, Jill Olive; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday October 2, 2021, at 2PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 6670 Old US Hwy 421 in Lillington with Rev. Rick Beacham officiating.
Friends are welcome to visit the funeral home on Friday, October 1, 2021, between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm to pay their respects to Mrs. Padilla. The family will not be in attendance.
Memorial contributions in Myra’s name may be made to the Benson Food Pantry.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
