Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams, 58, of Lillington, passed away, Sunday, February 4, 2024 at her home in Lillington, NC surrounded by friends and family. 

Michelle was born April 6, 1965 in Kirksville, MO.  She was a graduate of Excelsior College and employed with Duke Energy as a Station Scientists Manager. 

Many knew her as a friend and mentor who inspired all of us with her wisdom and life experiences. Michelle will forever be remembered for her kindness and compassion.  She was a pillar to her family and treated everyone she met with love.  Michelle was a fun- loving, adventure-seeking woman, who loved her family, and her retreat at the beach dearly.  She would lend an ear or hand to anyone in need and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, June Sunderland; sisters, Gina Sunderland, Traci Sunderland, and niece Stormy Dawn Jones.

Michelle is survived by her sons, Jeremy Spencer and Aaron Spencer (Robin Hallman); brothers, Christopher Lewis and Brian Sunderland; sister, Susan Sunderland; grandchildren, Makenzie Thomas, Makon Spencer, and Presley Spencer.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2024 at 1PM at Crossroads Ministries, 107 Milton Avenue, Broadway, NC 27505.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at her home.
