Micheal Wayne Thomas

Micheal Thomas, 40, died 15 March 2023 in his home in Lillington, North Carolina. He was born on April 26, 1982, to Barry and Heike. He attended Harnett Central High School where he played in the Marching band on first chair. He spent years working for the Department of Transportation and took pride in his time there. He was dad to 3 beautiful children and his love for them was unmatched. He was one of the kindest people you could ever meet and was known to all as a tenderhearted person. He loved his mama and his brother so passionately and never took sides against the family. More than anything he loved God and his Pastor Brother Johnnie Giles. He was such a blessing to be around and gave all that knew him his heart. Micheal loved like no other and was never ashamed to humbly show compassion. He is survived by his 3 children, Aaliyah, Melissa, and Micheal Jr. 

The family will receive friends Monday, March 20, 2023 at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home from 1:00-2:45 PM. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington.
