Mack Dickens Obituary

Mack Bevil Dickens, 78, of Lillington, NC passed away January 9, 2026, at Cape Fear Hospice House. He was born October 2, 1947, in Lee County to the late Mack and Stella Dickens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Marjorie Thomas and brother, Roy Lee Dickens.

He is survived by nieces Malinda Holder (Eddie), Terry Lynn Dickens, and Lisa FitzGibbon (Terry);and many great nieces and great nephews, including John Thomas who took great care of Mack this last year.

Mack loved photography and had a vast collection of his photographs that he loved sharing. He was a quiet man that loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
