Lunette Smith Nordan

Mrs. Lunette Smith Nordan, 86, of Erwin, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 9, 2018.

Lunette was born May 11, 1932, in Harnett County to the late William and Mary Pearl Smith.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 11 am at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wanda Bayles presiding.  The burial will follow at Westview Cemetery.

Lunette was preceded in death by her husband, R. Burton Nordan; daughter, Evelyn Lee; brothers, Edward Smith, Bobby Smith, Willie Smith and Jimmy Smith; and sisters, Lib Lawerence, Adlene Matthews and Jackie Pearce.

She is survived by daughter, Carolyn and James West of Lillington; son, William and Brenda Dean of Lillington; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda Bryant of Fuquay-Varina.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 10 to 11 am at the funeral home.
