Larry "Bill" Taylor

Mr. Larry “Bill” Taylor, 76, of Lillington passed away Monday September 24, 2018 at his home. He was born in Lee County, the son of the late Willie John and Lillian McNeill Taylor. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Taylor; brother, Roger Taylor and a sister, Sandra Glidden. Bill loved spending time with family especially his grandchildren. He loved horses and hunting dogs. Bill was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Lillington.

Bill is survived by his 4 sons, Craig Taylor and wife Amy of Broadway, David Taylor and wife Beth of Broadway, Marty Taylor and wife Barbie of Lillington and Jonathan Taylor and wife Jessica of Lillington; 10 grandchildren, Cheryl Lynn Prince, Lauren McKenzie and husband Tucker, Lauren Frizzelle and husband Kyle, Casey Capps and husband Joseph, Ragan Taylor, Zach Taylor, Lauren Stone, John Paul Taylor, Shelby Taylor and Noah Taylor; 4 great-grandchildren, Lilly, Laney, Jackson and Gracie; brother, Graham Reid Taylor of Broadway; sister-in-law, Glenda Taylor of Mamers.

A funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Thursday September 27, 2018 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church in Lillington with Dr. Jerome Smith, Rev. Terry Williams and Pastor Robbie O’Quinn officiating. Burial will follow in Summerville Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 2:00-4:00 PM and other times at the home.
