Kara Baggett Obituary

Kara Marie Baggett, 52, of Gastonia, NC passed away Sunday May 29, 2022, at her residence.

She was born May 14, 1970, in Fort Myers, Florida to Marsha Hyatt Patterson and the late James Stephen Patterson.

Kara was raised in Fort Myers, Florida and later moved to Dunn, North Carolina. She owned a trucking company with her husband, Chris. Kara enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with Chris and her beloved fur baby, Madison. Photography was a hobby and passion of Kara’s and she loved to cook wonderful meals for her family. She had a big heart and loved helping others through selfless service. 

She is survived by her beloved husband of 8 years, William “Chris” Baggett; her children, Jessica, Seth, Stephen, C.J., Bradley (Christina), Isley (Laura), Zeb, and Isabelle; her grandchildren, Everest, Oliver, Alister, Jax, and Winston; her mother, Marsha Hyatt Patterson; her mother-in-law Carma Lou Baggett; her father-in-law, William Carithers Baggett “Dad”; her uncle, Dean Hyatt (Polly); her beloved fur baby, Madison; and many additional family members, friends, and loved ones.  

Private services will be held at a later date.
