Joseph (Jeff) Jerome Beck, Jr.

Joseph (Jeff) Jerome Beck, Jr., 64, of Lillington, passed away, Friday, June 14, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC, after a long battle with ALS. 

Joe was born May 19, 1960, in Independence, MO.  He was a veteran of the US Army, retiring after 28 years of service.  Joe was the former commander of VFW Post# 5631 in Sanford, NC.  He was a member of the Buffalo Masonic Lodge #172 in Sanford, NC. 

Joe is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna Beck; parents, Marilyn Robertson, and Joseph Jerome Beck, Sr.; daughter, Rebecca Jubert and husband, Joshua; son, Jeffery Beck; brothers, Grant Beck and his wife, Noelle, Tim Robertson and his wife, Patricia; sisters, Conifer Swenson, Teresa Beck, and Sherry Beck; grandchildren, Austin, Chloe, Catherine, and Joseph. 

A memorial service will be held 4pm Friday, June 21, 2024 at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel, 1310 S. Main St., Lillington, NC 27546.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
