Mr. Jordan H. Mangum, 38, of Broadway passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025. He was born in Lee County, the son of Linwood Blaine Mangum, Sr. and Sharon Sloan Raynor. Jordan was preceded in death by his brother, Linwood Blaine “L.B.” Mangum, Jr., paternal grandparents, George and Arvel Mangum, maternal grandfather, Fred Barnes, and Uncle Ronnie Sloan.
Jordan had a love for animals, especially horses, chickens, cats and dogs, starting at an early age. He was a jack of all trades, learning carpentry from helping his dad, Blaine build houses in the summer. Jordan was a self-taught mechanic, working on all makes and models of cars and trucks. He never met a stranger and always had a joke to make you laugh. Jordan had a deep love for his granny Barbara and made many fond memories at her house. Jordan will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
Jordan is survived by his mother, Sharon Sloan Raynor and husband, Shane of Broadway; father, Blaine Mangum and wife, Cindy of Live Oak, Fl; sisters, Amanda George of Sanford and Julia Mangum of Live Oak, FL; maternal grandmother, Barbara Barnes of Broadway; uncle, Pat Sloan of Broadway; nieces, Joslyn, Jolene, and Brealynn Mangum and nephews, Jase, Linwood and Keegan Mangum of Live Oak, FL.
The family will receive friends from 12:00- 1:45 PM Saturday, January 3, 2026, at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Scott Yow officiating.
