Joanne Johnson Fore

Joanne Johnson Fore, 90, of Lillington passed away August 6, 2025, at Lillington Health and Rehab. She was born February 9, 1935, in Harnett County, NC to the late Fred and Alice Johnson. In addition to her parents Joanne was proceeded in death by husbands Dewey A. Hall and Bobby Dean Fore; brothers Fitzhugh Johnson and Oliver Johnson; and nephews Lewis Johnson and Todd Johnson.

She graduated from Lillington High School then started her career in manufacturing. She retired from Armtec Defense with 30 years of service. Joanne had a green thumb and loved her flowers. She enjoyed cooking meals for her friends and family. She loved traveling to the mountains to visit with her friends when she was able. She enjoyed her visits from the grandchildren. Joanne will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Joanne is survived by daughter Cindy Coleman (Jimmy); son Scott Fore (Jennifer); grandchildren Jamie Coleman (Melissa), Ryan Coleman (Bettina), Nate Fore, and Paxton Fore; great grandson Lucas Coleman; nephews Dwayne Johnson and Timmy Johnson.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 8, 2025, from 11:00–11:45 AM at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM in the chapel with Burial at Westview Cemetery.
