Jimmy Roach Sellers, Sr.

Jimmy Roach Sellers, Sr. 76, passed away at Central Carolina Hospital on November 28, 2021. A native of Lee Co, he was the son of the late Roach and Bleeker Sellers. Jimmy worked for the Coca Cola Bottling Co. as a service technician working on the vending machines. There will be a Graveside service at 2 PM Thursday Dec. 2, 2021 at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Broadway, NC the Rev. Scott Yow officiating.  Jimmy is survived by his wife of 57 years; Clara Sellers; son, Jimmy Sellers; daughter, Jena Renee Stewart; brothers, Michael Sellers and George “Eddie” Sellers; 4- grandchildren and 6- great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday Dec. 1, 2021 from 6-8 PM at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home 1310 S. Main St. Lillington. In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
