Jerry Davis Byrd Stogsdill, 95, of Lillington passed away Monday January 3, 2022, at her residence with her family by her side.

She was born April 23, 1926, in Erwin, NC to the late Maggie Stephenson Byrd and James Richard Byrd. Jerry was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Milton Stogsdill.

Jerry spent her entire life in the Harnett County area. She pursued a career in the medical field as a nurse for over 20 years. Jerry was an active member of the Prime Time Club and the Red Hat Society in Lillington. She attended Lillington Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking and ministering to her fellow church members.

She is survived by her son, Dwight Stogsdill of Lillington; her daughters, Jane Mickelson and husband Ken of Wilmington, Vickie Mickle and husband Dale of Pennsylvania; and Pamela Reznick and husband Steve of New York; her grandchildren, Derek Stogsdill and wife Sara of Wilmington, and Kelly, Adam, and Nicole Reznick, all of New York; her great-grandson, Riley Stogsdill of Wilmington; her niece, Trudy Bullock Hamilton of Lillington; her nephew Gary Bullock of Sanford; nephew Walter Byrd of Dunn; nephew Philip Byrd of Godwin; and nephew Bobby Byrd of Erwin.  

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
