Jeffrey Jay Hood, Jr.

Jeffrey Jay Hood Jr., 30, of Spring Lake, NC, passed away, December 6, 2025.  He was born in Fort Hood, Texas to Jeffrey J. Hood Sr. and Candes Hood.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brittany Hood; children, Milyana and Mycah Hood; sister, Kashayl Boose (Corey); niece, Zashayla Santana.

Jeffrey was a 2014 graduate of Overhills High School and 2018 graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in Industrial Engineering.  Jeffrey was an employee of Caterpillar in Sanford, NC.  He was loved by his friends and family.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home, 1310 S. Main Street, Lillington, North Carolina.  A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
