Mrs. Andra Jan O’Quinn Hadding, born July 28, 1962, passed into the presence of her Savior on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Heaven has gained another angel.
Jan attended Western Harnett High School and then graduated from Sandhills Community College as a certified Surgical Technician. She worked in many different health care facilities throughout the area, having most recently worked with Veterans Services in Wilmington.
Jan was a kind, compassionate and humble person. She was a shell artist, and her creativity was unmatched. Her greatest legacy is that she was a true example of a Christian wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Monday, March 29, 2021, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery with Revs. Robbie O’Quinn and Rick Beacham presiding.
Jan was preceded in death by her father and mother, Cecil and Nancy O’Quinn; and her grandparents, Lee and Annie O’Quinn and Joe and Ruth O’Quinn; and her in-laws, Walter and Joan Hadding.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Keith Hadding; two sons, Adam Lee Hadding and Ryan Keith Hadding; granddaughter, Andrea Adlynn “Addy” Hadding; one brother, Robbin O’Quinn and wife, Faye; aunt and uncle, Jerry and Sylvia Cummings; cousins, Leanne and Brooks O’Quinn, their daughter, Anna, and Jerrilyn and Marshall Pope and their son, Bryson; and numerous other cousins and friends.
Friends are welcome to pay their respects to Jan on Sunday, March 28, 2021, from 1 pm to 5 pm at O’Quinn Peebles Phillips Funeral Home. The family will not be in attendance at this time.
In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
