Jackie Gene Carrroll

Mr. Jackie Gene Carroll, 77, of Fuquay-Varina passed away on October 14, 2024, at UNC Rex Hospital. He was born on February 6, 1947, in Raleigh, the son of the late Charlie and Maggie Carroll.

In addition to his parents Jackie was preceded in death by his sister Rosa Baker, brothers Arthur Carroll and Roy Carroll, and niece Susan Carroll Wood.

Jackie owned and operated Jack’s Repair Service for over 38 years. He loved old machinery and antique tractors. He enjoyed telling stories to his family and friends.

Jackie is survived by his wife of 54 years Rita Ashworth Carroll, daughter Nancy Carroll Bass and husband Danny Bass, and nephews Ronnie, Mark, and Glenn Carroll.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 18, 2024, at Cokesbury Cemetery 6678 River Road Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
