Herbert “Alex” Ennis, 74, of Buies Creek, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025

He was born June 17, 1950 to Herbert and Mary Mitchell Ennis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Ennis.

He is survived by his sons, Adrien Ennis and Allen Ennis; sister, Lillian Silverthorne; brothers, Harry Ennis (his wife, Barbara) and Tim Ennis.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 28, 2025 from 6 to 8 pm at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Pleasant Plains Methodist Cemetery.
