Greg Mitchell Wrench

Mr. Greg M. Wrench, 16, of Lillington and Mamers passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2023. He was born in Cumberland County, the son of Donald and Sean Smith Wrench. Greg was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Willie Wrench; paternal grandmother, Darvis Wrench; maternal grandfathers, Andrew “Connie” Smith and Fred Sexton and uncle, Mitchell Smith. Greg loved to fish and anything outdoors.

In addition to his parents, Greg is survived by his sister, Megan Deskins, brother, Drew Lage, sister, Leah Lage and maternal grandmother, Faye Sexton; maternal grandparents, Carolyn and David Hall; bonus grandmother, Diane Dickens; his namesake, Rodney Greg Wrench.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:45 PM Monday, June 12, 2023, at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home in Lillington. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
