Gerald Thomas Nordan

Gerald Thomas Nordan, 75, of Lillington, passed away, Sunday, November 12, 2023 at his home in Lillington, NC. 

Gerald was born January 18, 1948 in Lee County to the late Carlie Thomas Nordan and Ruby Brown Nordan.  He was a graduate of Lillington High School and worked for the NC Department of Revenue, retiring with over 30 years of service.  Gerald was a Vietnam veteran of the US Army.  He enjoyed woodworking and working around the family farm.    

Gerald is survived by his brother, Christopher Nordan and his wife, Jan; three nephews, Joshua Nordan, Brandon Nordan and his wife, Felicia, and Jason Nordan; and three grand nephews, Joseph Nordan, David Nordan and James Nordan; and aunt, Mamie Jo Darroch.   

A graveside service will be held 11am Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, 8326 NC Hwy 27, Lillington, NC 27546 with Rev. Robbie O’Quinn officiating.  The family will receive friends 6pm – 8pm Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home, 1310 S. Main St., Lillington, NC 27546.
