Frances Faye Riggan

Frances “Faye” Riggan, 79, of Angier, died Saturday, February 4, 2023 at UNC Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC. 

Faye was born November 16, 1943 in Harnett County to the late Althea Spence Dean and Millard Dean.  Faye’s life revolved around her family, friends, and extended family.  Known to many as “Mama Faye”, she loved having people come to visit her. She was always willing to help anyone in anyway that she could. She loved spending hours on the phone staying in touch with her family and friends.  She had a beloved sense of humor and a contagious laugh that could make anyone smile.
 
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald McCauley; grandson, Antonio Fernando Riggan; and granddaughter, Tisha McCauley.    

Faye is survived by her daughters, Mary Herrera, and Wanda McCauley; sisters, Debra Adcock, and Dorothy Temple; brothers, Troy Dean (Patsy), Jerry Dean, and Ivory Dean; seven grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.    

A graveside service will be held 2pm Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier, NC.    

Memorials may be sent in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
