Frances Cairnes Pace

Frances Cairnes Pace, 96, of Coats, formerly of Brevard, NC, died Friday, December 23, 2022 at Betsy Johnson Hospital in Dunn, NC.

Frances was born May 2, 1926 in Lynn, NC to the late Sidney Warren Cairnes and Myrtle Gaines Cairnes.  She was a graduate of East Flat Rock High School and worked as a seamstress.  Frances was a member of First Baptist Church of Brevard. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 78 years, William Glenn Pace.  

Frances is survived by her daughter, Nancy Pace Rodgers and her husband, Richard; grandsons, Richard Rodgers, Jr. and his wife, Tameeka, and David William Rodgers and his wife, Carolyn; five great grandchildren, Michael, Ava, Tripp, Henry and Ben. 

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
