Floyd “Junie” Frederick Jewett, Jr., 84, of Broadway, formerly of Enosburg Falls, VT, died Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at his home in Broadway, NC.

Junie was born September 28, 1938 in Bakersfield, VT to the late Floyd Frederick Jewett, Sr. and Beulah Mae Foote Jewett-Messier. He was employed with Carl Geary and Son Construction for over 40 years. He was a hardworking man, whose hobby was cutting and splitting firewood for his community. Junie enjoyed smoking his pipe and eating out.

He is survived by his daughters, Lianne Hustis (Dannie Blackmon), and Chris Bentley (David); sons, Randy Jewett, and Larry Jewett (Lois); sisters, Arbutus Reed (Mort), Bertha Reed, and Diane Chaplin; grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Jesse, Shaun, Ronnie, Taylor, Kaiden, Larry Jr., Lee, and Christopher; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
