Erma Holley Mason

Erma Holley Mason, 95, of Cary, NC (formerly of Lillington, NC) passed away April 13, 2025 at Wakemed Hospital in Cary, NC.  She was born December 14, 1929 in Johnston County to the late John R. Holley and Lettie Smith Holley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Baxter Wright Mason, Sr.; brothers, Mitchell Holley and Bernard Holley; sisters, Jewell Manning, Inez Knight, Mozelle Pippen, Gray Leaird, Marjorie Wood, and Louise Strickland.

Erma is survived by her son, Baxter Wright Mason, Jr.; grandchildren, Cynthia Faircloth (Neil) and Phyllis Pearce; and great-grandchildren, Izabella and Gabriella.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Spring Hill United Methodist Church, 1960 Spring Hill Church Road, Lillington, NC.  A celebration of life gathering will be held in the church fellowship hall May 10, 2025 from 1pm-3pm.
