Donnie Ray Patterson

Mr. Donnie R. Patterson, 72, of Lillington, went home to be with his Lord, on Sunday, April 4, 2021.

Donnie was born to the late Dewey and Bessie Patterson.  He worked 25 years with Champion Homes in Lillington.  He was an avid car enthusiast, loved Nascar racing, but above all, he loved his family.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 3:00PM at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.  Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, April 7 from 12:00 to 5:00 at the funeral home.  The family will not be in attendance.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Bessie Patterson; sisters, Willie Grace Passmore of Carolina Beach, Peggy Pearce of Lexington; brothers, Buster Patterson of Lexington, Tommy Patterson of Sanford, and L.J. Patterson of Lillington. 

He is survived by his wife of over fifty-one years, Donna Patterson; sons, Chris Patterson and wife, Lee Ann and Brent Patterson and wife Cathy; grandchildren, Trevor, Taylor, Camron, and Adam Ray; sister, Linda Silva of Pearl City, Hawaii. 

In accordance with current North Carolina COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home requests that everyone in attendance practice social distancing and wear a face covering.
