Donald Nordon Obituary
Mr. Donald Louis Nordon, 81, of Mamers, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020.
Donald was born in Harnett County to the late Arnold and Lenora Nordon. He was a lifelong farmer and mechanic and was retired from the Harnett County Public Utilities after 25 years of service. He enjoyed sharing his garden with others and he loved watching NASCAR, fishing, travelling, camping, grilling and barbecuing pigs and chicken.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 3 pm at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Laura Beth Casey presiding. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Donald was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Holt.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Pat McKee; sister, Elizabeth Littlefield of Greensboro; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 1:30 - 3 pm in the church sanctuary.
