Dianne Marie Johnson

Ms. Dianne M. Johnson, 75 of Lillington, passed away on December 10, 2024, at Transitions Life Care Hospice Home in Raleigh. She was the daughter of the late Robert Acreal Johnson and Louise Mann Johnson of Lillington. Dianne graduated from Lillington High School in 1967 and attended Methodist College and Campbell University.

Dianne taught at Boone Trail School and Western Harnett Middle School for 30 years as a Special Education Teacher. She was a member of Lillington Presbyterian Church. She served as a Commissioner for the Town of Lillington for 16 years. Dianne was a master gardener in the Lillington Garden Club.

Dianne is survived by her godchildren Patricia Johnson Chafin and Jacob Mark Johnson, cousins Chris Mann, Cynthia Mann Johnson, Marcia Mann Kelly, beloved aunt Becky Mann, and many cousins.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 PM on December 17, 2024 at Lillington Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will follow in the sanctuary at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Harnett Memorial Park.
