Craig Patterson

Mr. Barry Craig Patterson, 60, of Mamers passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, at his home. He was born in Lee County, the son of the late Marcus Ronald and Peggy Joyce Patterson. Craig loved his Savior, Jesus Christ and was a loving husband and father. He was a hard worker and a people person. Craig enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching NASCAR with his buddies.  

Craig is survived by his wife of 32 years, Judy Gregory Patterson of the home; son, Christopher Yates of Illinois; two stepdaughters, Sherry Lynn Foster of Mamers, NC, Donna Renee Shannon and husband, Dale of Marble, NC; nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter; two brothers, Ricky Patterson and wife Brenda of Sanford; Randy Patterson and wife Jatana of Broadway; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-3:45 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2022, in the Holly Springs Baptist Church sanctuary in Broadway. A funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM with Rev. Scott Yow and Rev. Jerry Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
