Clara Sue (Bryant) Sellers

Clara Sue Bryant Sellers, 79, of Mamers, passed away at home with her family by her side on Wednesday, October 9, 2024.

Clara was born May 22, 1945 in Harnett County to the late Harold and Carrie Hanes Bryant.  She was a 1964 graduate of Broadway High School and worked with the US Postal Service in Mamers.  Clara was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Broadway, NC.    

Clara is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Jimmy Roach Sellers, Sr. 

Clara is survived by her son, Jimmy Sellers, Jr.; daughter, Jena Renee Stewart; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister, Alice Bryant; brother, Jerry Bryant; two nephews, Ricky Scott, and Jeff Scott; and special niece, Melissa Hedrick. 

The family will receive friends Friday, October 11, 2024 from 6-8 PM at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home, 1310 S. Main St. Lillington. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2pm at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Broadway, NC with Rev. Connie Arnold officiating.
