Christopher Jacob Shaw

Christopher Jacob Shaw, 32, was taken to heaven unexpectantly on February 26, 2025.  He was born the only son to Dennis and Michele Shaw on February 8, 1993.  Christopher was a disabled combat veteran who served his country with pride.  Like his father and grandfather before him, he turned 19 while in combat.  His love of God and Country shaped him to be the man that he would become.

Christopher, known for his sarcastic and dry-witted humor, loved Star Wars, Calvin and Hobbs, reading and cooking.  Beginning at an early age, Christopher developed a love of shooting which led to his career at Fuquay Gun.  Christopher found happiness in both his job and family. His life was good and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Rachel Locklear (Ricky); niece Robin; fiancée Ashley Buchanan and bonus daughter Serenity; grandparents Major Gary and Joan Shaw, Sue Hovermale, of Wadesboro, NC; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will held on March 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at O’Quinn-Peebles-Phillips Funeral Home, 1310 S. Main Street, Lillington, NC.  The family will receive friends following the service.
