Catherine "Pat" Marie Hawley Coleman

Catherine “Pat” Marie Hawley Coleman, 93, passed away August 1, 2026 at Central Harnett Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Harnett County to the late John Hawley and Alma Cannady Hawley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. L. Coleman; grandson, Nathan John Franklin Rawls; and son-in-law, Michael Wayne Rawls.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Marsha Rawls; son, Anthony “Dale” Coleman; grandchildren, Joshua Rawls (Tina), Caleb Rawls (Adrianne), Nathan Rawls (Holly), Rachel Baucom (Adam), Grace Harvey (Joshua), Melissa Coleman, and Nicole Coleman (Ricky); great-grandchildren, Maylon Rawls, Makenzie Rawls, Tyler Matthews, Erica Matthews, Kayla Rawls, Kylie Rawls, Eli Rawls, Gabe Baucom, Alex Baucom, Miya Harvey, Malachi Harvey, Maddox Harvey, Mayson Harvey, Nora Jackson, John Coleman, Avery Blanks, and Hunter Blanks.

Pat was known for her sewing abilities, green thumb (especially tomatoes), cake baking, and homecooked meals for everybody.  However, her greatest passion was playing the piano, a ministry she faithfully shared at Harmony Baptist Church for 60 years. Her music touched countless lives and brought peace and joy to every service.  Pat loved her family, her church, but most of all her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at Harmony Baptist Church (3566 NC-210, Bunnlevel, NC) on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at noon.  The family will receive friends beginning at 11am.
