Betty "Jane" Johnson Brown

Betty “Jane” Johnson Brown, 90, of Lillington, died Saturday, March 18, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.   

Jane was born February 7, 1933 to the late Ashley Bruce Johnson and Mabel Ruth Wilder Johnson.   

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Monroe Brown, Jr.; and daughter, Deborah Jane Brown McNeill.    

Jane is survived by her son, Daniel Monroe Brown and his wife, Wanda Coats Brown; granddaughters, Christina Jolly; and Rebecca Hunter and husband, Thomas Hunter II; great-grandchildren, Tyler Hunter, Logan Hunter, and Austin Hunter.   

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Westview Cemetery in Lillington, NC.  The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2023 at the home of Rebecca Hunter, 300 Bruce Johnson Rd., Lillington, NC 27546.
