Betty Ann Britt

Betty Ann Britt, 63, of Angier, passed away, Monday, February 3, 2025 at her home in Angier, NC. 

Betty Ann was born February 3, 1962 in Harnett County to the late John Broughton Britt, Sr. and Anne Eliza Britt.  She was a graduate of Harnett Central High School, Campbell University, and the Norman Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. 

Betty Ann is survived by her brother, John Broughton Britt, Jr. and wife, Rhonda R. Britt; nephews, Adam Britt, and Carson Britt; and niece, Ashton Britt.    

Betty Ann was a true and loyal friend.  She loved animals and was surrounded by a host of cats that loved her pampering.  A fun fact that most do not know is that Betty Ann had her pilot’s license and enjoyed many hours in the sky.  She was an avid learner who mastered anything she set her mind to learning.  She taught herself computer skills, played the piano, was fluent in French, and was well-known for her cooking skills.   She was a special lady who loved her family and will be greatly missed – forever loved. 

A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier, NC.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.    

Memorials may be made to the SPCA of Harnett County.
